Applicants will attend an interview for admission. Participants need to have knowledge about skirt, trousers, upper body pattern and sewing techniques.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Turkish.

One of the most important processes of the fashion industry is the field of pattern making and model development. A professionally made pattern is essential for realizing a product and completing its production process. With the help of this program, where you can graduate as a professional patterncutter, you will understand the needs of the industry, substantiate outputs of the creative process, generate creative solutions, and improve your technical skills.
Besides practical training in the fields of pattern and practice, you will be equipped with the skills to use technology actively and efficiently, and you will receive an education that is based on building the best possible end product, and understand the fashion design process.
Throughout the program, participants are trained in an environment where they will specialize in Pattern Techniques, and empower skills understanding the needs of the industry.
Pattern Techniques 1: Consists of an introduction to high-level pattern making techniques, making patterns by working on different pattern systems, model development with mannequin draping practices, and fitting techniques.
Pattern Techniques 2: Practice studies are performed for the participant’s collection-based study. The participant prepares a pattern work consisting of pieces including jacket, trousers, t-shirt and skirt.
Practice Techniques 1: Planned as a module to be followed in parallel with the pattern making techniques module. It helps the participant to advance their practice skills and learn about product quality. In addition, using their technical skills, participants carry out model practices and prepare samples.
Practice Techniques 2: Built in parallel with Pattern Techniques 2. Participants perform jacket, trouser, blouse or skirt applications that appear in their final project for the design course. They work on various samples to take their skills to a higher level in the practice field.
Textile Technology: Information on fibers as the textile raw material, and fabrics as the main material, is conveyed, their areas of usage are discussed, and proper fabrics and practices for the model are explained.
Pattern Preparation Techniques on Computer/ASSYST: Using the ASSYST program, operations include main pattern creation, different model practices, and problem solving on patterns.
Technical Drawing: Gives basic information on technical drawing. Participants prepare technical flyers with different features for production, and learn how to interpret these flyers and use the correct terminology.
